About Me

ABOUT ALEX MARTINEZ

Alex Martinez is a Miami-based guitar instructor and live musician with over a decade of playing experience and a background in teaching, performance, and live sound.

He has worked with hundreds of students through his time at School of Rock and private instruction, helping players of all levels develop strong technique, solid timing, and real confidence on the instrument.

In addition to teaching, Alex has performed in multiple bands and worked in live sound across South Florida, giving him a practical understanding of what it actually takes to sound good in real musical settings, not just in practice.

Lessons are built around real progress. Students are not just given exercises. They are shown how to play cleanly, stay in time, and approach the instrument with intention.

Whether working with complete beginners or more experienced players, the goal is always the same: build musicians who can actually play.

Guitar lessons are available in-home throughout Miami as well as online.
